How can you help?
Ask before you order
if they recycle empty bottles and cans.
If they are not
yet recycling ask when they have plans to start recycling and offer to help

Until they do
begin recycling, order beverages from the tap instead of bottles or
cans. Most places serve these drinks in real glass as opposed to
plastic which gets washed instead of thrown away.
